Hong Kong: Shares end with healthy gains
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks finished Friday with gains, recovering from the previous day's losses as traders tracked a positive lead from Wall Street, with energy firms boosted by rising oil prices.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.97 per cent, or 301.49 points, to close at 31,267.17.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.63 per cent, or 20.46 points, to 3,289.02 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, gained 0.18 per cent, or 3.20 points, to 1,775.17.
