HONG KONG shares finished slightly higher on Wednesday (May 25) after 3 days of losses though traders remain on edge about the outlook for the global economy as inflation surges and interest rates are hiked.
The Hang Seng Index gained 0.29 per cent, or 59.17 points, to 20,171.27.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 1.19 per cent, or 36.54 points, to 3,107.46, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange rose 1.17 per cent, or 22.40 points, to 1,944.88. AFP
