Hong Kong shares end higher after Yellen speech

[HONG KONG] Shares rallied in Hong Kong Tuesday, in line with the region and Wall Street, after Federal Reserve boss Janet Yellen flagged confidence in the US economy and said any rate rises would be gradual.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 1.42 per cent, or 298.02 points, to 21,328.24.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index closed slightly higher, edging up 1.94 points to 2,936.04. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.25 per cent, or 4.76 points, to 1,924.88.
