[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks fell again on Tuesday as concerns about the Federal Reserve's plans to tighten monetary policy in light of surging inflation helped to reverse early gains.

The Hang Seng Index lost 0.43 per cent or 105.25 points to 24,112.78.

The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.80 per cent or 28.25 points to 3,569.91 while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange fell 0.33 per cent or 8.18 points to 2,464.83.
