Hong Kong: Shares fall at open on Wednesday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened lower on Wednesday morning, in line with a broad regional drop and following steep losses on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong fell 1.13 per cent, or 227.92 points, to 19,890.88 in the first few minutes of trade.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.55 per cent, or 15.50 points, to 2,828.18 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.84 per cent, or 15.25 points, to 1,799.43.
