HONG KONG stocks slipped on Thursday (May 26) as a warning about the strength of the Chinese economy by Premier Li Keqiang overshadowed minutes indicating a less hawkish Federal Reserve.
The Hang Seng Index eased 0.27 per cent, or 55.07 points, to 20,116.20.
The Shanghai Composite Index gained 0.50 per cent, or 15.64 points, to 3,123.11, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange put on 0.53 per cent, or 10.25 points, to 1,955.13. AFP
