[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks rose in the first few minutes of trade Monday after last week's below-par US growth data reduced the chances the Federal Reserve will hike interest rates this year.

The Hang Seng Index added 0.62 per cent, or 136.28 points, to 22,027.65.

But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index lost 0.25 per cent, or 7.39 points, to 2,971.95, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, fell 0.43 per cent, or 8.37 points, to 1,933.19.
