HONG KONG stocks opened Monday (Jun 20) with losses as investors remain fixated on surging inflation and central bank interest rate hikes that are fuelling concerns of a recession.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.60 per cent or 126.20 points to 20,948.80.
The Shanghai Composite Index was flat inching down 1 point to 3,315.78, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange added 0.48 per cent or 10.17 points to 2,141.39. AFP
