[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks jumped in the first few minutes of trade on Monday, with lenders boosted by easing worries about the future of German titan Deutsche Bank.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 1.53 per cent or 355.68 points, to 23,652.83.
Mainland Chinese markets are closed all week for the National Day holiday.
