Hong Kong: Stocks up 0.54% at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened 0.54 per cent higher Friday following a strong lead from Wall Street, where the Nasdaq hit a record high, breaking above a level not seen since the dot-com bubble in 2000.
Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index gained 150.69 points to 27,978.39.
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 1.76 per cent, or 77.87 points, to 4,336.64.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 1.52 per cent, or 34.33 points, to 2,222.65.
