Hong Kong: Stocks begin with losses
HONG KONG stocks opened on the back foot on Wednesday (Aug 10) morning, tracking losses on Wall Street ahead of key US inflation data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.23 per cent, or 46.93 points, to 19,956.51.
The Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.16 per cent, or 5.07 points, to 3,242.36, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange fell 0.21 per cent, or 4.66 points, to 2,183.83. AFP
