Hong Kong: Stocks cap four-day streak of losses to end the day higher

    [HONG KONG] Shares in Hong Kong closed higher on Wednesday, tracking a broader regional markets rally and capping a four-day streak of losses.

    The Hang Seng Index rose 0.47 per cent, or 121.12 points, to 25,867.01.

    The Shanghai Composite Index rose by 1.11 per cent, or 38.31 points, to 3,485.29 on closing, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange was up 0.84 per cent, or 20.00 points, to 2,412.49.
