HONG KONG stocks ended lower on Tuesday (Jun 7) as worries about inflation and rising interest rates overshadowed a report indicating China's tech crackdown could be coming to an end.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.56 per cent, or 122.23 points, to 21,531.67.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.17 per cent, or 5.39 points, to 3,241.76, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange dipped 0.05 per cent, or 0.97 points, to 2,072.58. AFP
