Hong Kong: Stocks close with fresh losses
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks fell again Friday, tracking losses on Wall Street and across Asia as traders are spooked by uncertainty over next week's US presidential election.
The Hang Seng Index shed 0.18 per cent, or 40.89 points, to end at 22,642.62.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slid 0.12 per cent or 3.62 points, to 3,125.32 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.21 per cent, or 4.44 points, to 2,067.15 on turnover of 327.4 billion yuan. It rose 0.74 per cent during the week.
