[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares closed higher on Thursday (Apr 14), in line with gains across Asia despite lingering concerns about the impact of soaring inflation on the global economic outlook.
The Hang Seng Index gained 0.67 per cent, or 143.71 points, to close at 21,518.08.
The Shanghai Composite Index ended the day 1.22 per cent, or 38.83 points, higher at 3,225.64, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange rose 1.11 per cent, or 22.30 points, to 2,034.48. AFP
