Hong Kong: Stocks close higher
SHARES ended higher in Hong Kong on Wednesday (Jun 15) as bargain-buyers moved in following a painful sell-off at the start of the week, with attention on the Federal Reserve's interest rate decision later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index rose 1.14 per cent, or 240.22 points, to 21,308.21.
The Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.50 per cent, or 16.50 points, to 3,305.41, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange climbed 0.47 per cent, or 9.88 points, to 2,098.99. AFP
