Hong Kong: Stocks close higher

HONG Kong stocks ended on Monday (Nov 14) with another healthy gain as property firms rallied after China announced a series of measures to support the struggling sector.
The Hang Seng Index added 1.70 per cent, or 294.05 points, to 17,619.71, extending Friday’s rally of more than seven per cent.
The Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.13 per cent, or 3.89 points, to 3,083.40, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange eased 0.26 per cent, or 5.15 points, at 2,012.81. AFP
