Hong Kong: Stocks close higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks finished on a positive note on Thursday (Dec 16 )in line with a rally across Asia and on Wall Street as traders welcomed clarity from the Federal Reserve on its monetary policy plans.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.23 per cent, or 54.74 points, to 23,475.50.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.75 per cent, or 27.39 points, to 3,675.02, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange gained 0.62 per cent, or 15.81 points, to 2,559.31.
