Hong Kong: Stocks close with losses

[HONG KONG] Shares sank in Hong Kong on Thursday (Nov 18) following a drop on Wall Street, with technology firms taking a hit after recent gains as traders await the release of earnings from e-commerce giant Alibaba later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 1.29 per cent, or 330.36 points, to 25,319.72.
The Shanghai Composite Index shed 0.47 per cent, or 16.66 points, to 3,520.17, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange eased 0.65 per cent, or 16.15 points, to 2,460.86.
