Hong Kong: Stocks down at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened on Friday in the red following a retreat on Wall Street while traders awaited the release of Chinese trade data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.12 per cent, or 35.38 points, to 28,423.65.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.05 per cent, or 1.61 points, to 3,384.49 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was marginally higher, inching up 0.34 points to 2,023.70.
