Hong Kong: Stocks edge down at close
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks ended slightly down at the end of trading Tuesday as uncertainty hung over the Asian markets.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.11 percent, or 29.66 points, to 26,172.91.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.17 per cent, or 4.50 points, to 2,721.01, after also swinging between positive and negative territory for much of the day.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.09 per cent, or 1.19 points, to 1,385.09.
