[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged marginally higher in opening trade Friday following a surge on Wall Street as weak US retail sales soothed concerns about a possible interest rate hike this summer.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index edged up 11.01 points to 23,808.97.
