Hong Kong: Stocks end the day lower
[HONG KONG] Shares in Hong Kong fell on Thursday as investors returned from a second public holiday this week, with eyes on the release of US jobs data ahead of the weekend.
The Hang Seng Index slipped 0.05 per cent, or 12.25 points, to 24,683.88.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell 0.25 per cent, or 7.98 points, to 3,127.37 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.28 per cent, or 5.39 points, to 1,896.36.
