Hong Kong: Stocks end up more than 4%

HONG Kong stocks ended more than four per cent higher on Tuesday (Nov 15), boosted by Chinese moves to ease Covid-19 restrictions while traders also cheered broadly positive talks between President Xi Jinping and US counterpart Joe Biden.
The Hang Seng Index jumped 4.11 per cent, or 723.41 points, to 18,343.12 – extending its rally into a third day.
The Shanghai Composite Index rose 1.64 per cent, or 50.68 points, to 3,134.08, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange climbed 2.05 per cent, or 41.28 points, to 2,054.09. AFP
