HONG Kong shares edged down on Thursday (Oct 6) on profit-taking after soaring almost six per cent the day before, while traders are steeling themselves for the release of key US jobs data at the end of the week.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.42 per cent, or 75.82 points, to 18,012.15.
