[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks fell more than three percent in morning trade after a slump in Chinese share markets sparked an automatic "circuit breaker", halting trading on the mainland for the rest of the day.

In mid-morning trade, the Hang Seng index was down 3.05 per cent, or 639.48 points, at 20,341.33.
