Hong Kong: Stocks finish with a big loss

    HONG KONG stocks finished with steep losses on Friday (Oct 7) on profit taking after a huge jump earlier in the week, and as traders nervously await the release of US jobs data later in the day.

    The Hang Seng Index sank 1.51 per cent, or 272.10 points, to 17,740.05.
