HONG KONG stocks kicked off Thursday (Sep 8) morning on a flat note as a rally across US and most Asian markets was offset by ongoing worries about Federal Reserve plans to fight inflation with a series of interest rate hikes.
The Hang Seng Index inched down 0.46 points to 19,043.84.
The Shanghai Composite Index was also barely moved, dipping 0.74 points to 3,245.56, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange was up just 0.53 points to 2,123.73. AFP
