Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.39% lower
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks slipped 0.39 per cent in opening trade on Thursday after the release of data showing the US economy grew much slower than expected in the first three months of the year.
The Hang Seng Index fell 111.20 points to 28,289.14.
In mainland China the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.27 per cent, or 11.98 points, to 4,488.60.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.81 per cent, or 18.30 points, to 2,273.28.
