Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.80% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares rose 0.80 per cent at the start of trade on Monday, tracking a strong lead from Wall Street where stocks surged in a "Santa Claus rally" last week.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index added 185.69 points to 23,302.32 in the first few minutes of trade.
