Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.86% lower

    [HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares climbed 0.86 per cent at the open on Thursday following a rebound in New York and Europe in response to a pick-up in oil prices, healthy US jobs growth and expectations of European monetary easing.

    The benchmark Hang Seng Index rose 202.69 points to 23,883.95.
