Hong Kong: Stocks open 0.94% higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks climbed 0.94 per cent in the opening exchanges on Thursday, tracking a strong lead from Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index added 250.51 points to 26,938.15.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.07 per cent, or 3.35 points, to 5,102.69.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged up 0.19 per cent, or 5.72 points, to 3,061.30.
