[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares tumbled 1.08 per cent at the open Thursday following steep losses on Wall Street and European markets as investors took profits from a recent rally, while slumping oil prices hit energy firms.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index skidded 255.01 points to 23,296.51 in the first few minutes of trade.
