[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares opened higher on Monday, boosted by strong US growth data last week and ahead of key earnings reports.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.6 per cent, or 170.93 points, to 28,609.78.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index dipped 0.09 per cent, or 2.94 points, to 3,413.87. The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.10 per cent, or 1.97 points, to 2,021.53.
