Hong Kong: Stocks open with fresh gains
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks extended gains at the start of business on Tuesday as investors keep tabs on developments in the China-US trade saga.
The Hang Seng Index climbed 0.39 per cent, or 106.95 points, to 27,685.59.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged up 0.07 per cent, or 1.94 points, to 2,854.07 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.13 per cent, or 1.88 points, to 1,485.11.
