Hong Kong: Stocks open with gains
[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks posted small gains at Friday's open as traders took a positive lead from Wall Street, the day after another sharp sell-off.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.15 per cent, or 37.03 points, to 25,031.49.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.27 per cent, or 7.10 points, to 2,610.90, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, rose 0.65 per cent, or 8.39 points, to 1,301.19.
