Hong Kong: Stocks open higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares extended the previous day's gains in the first few minutes of trade Wednesday, tracking another record close on Wall Street and a positive lead from Europe.
The Hang Seng index was up 0.57 per cent, or 129.98 points, to 22,805.13 soon after opening.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was flat, inching down or 1.18 points to 3,198.47, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, was also barely moved, ticking up 0.07 points to 2,071.51.
