Hong Kong: Stocks open higher

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged up in the first few minutes of trade Monday, extending last week's gains.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.16 per cent, or 39.87 points, to 24,349.80.
The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index climbed 0.11 per cent, or 3.66 points, to 3,241.11 but the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.09 per cent, or 1.73 points, to 2,028.00.
