Hong Kong: Stocks open higher as Britain goes to polls

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened higher Thursday, extending their rally to a fifth straight session as Britain goes to the polls to decide whether or not to stay in the European Union.
The Hang Seng Index rose 0.32 per cent, or 67.47 points, to 20,862.59.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index eased 0.11 per cent, or 3.15 points, to 2,902.40 while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, edged down 0.07 per cent, or 1.38 points, to 1,920.00.
