Hong Kong: Stocks open higher on Thursday

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong's Hang Seng Index opened marginally higher on Thursday morning after the previous day's sell-off but Shanghai dipped on profit-taking.

The Hang Seng index added 0.07 per cent, or 17.20 points, to 25,711.78.

The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index slipped 0.20 per cent, or 3.97 points, to 3,152.24 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, inched down 0.07 per cent, or 1.38 points, to 1,885.81.
