Hong Kong: Stocks open slightly higher on Friday

HONG Kong stocks rose at the open on Friday morning, at the end of a volatile week for investors, who are now focusing on the release of US jobs data later in the day.
The Hang Seng Index edged up 0.67 per cent, or 103.27 points, to 15,442.76.
The Shanghai Composite Index was barely moved, edging down 0.81 points to 2,997.00, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China’s second exchange was also flat, inching up 0.88 points to 1,968.26. AFP
