[HONG KONG] Hong Kong equities plunged 5.84 per cent to a seven-month low on Wednesday in line with a precipitous fall in Chinese markets.
The benchmark Hang Seng Index sank 1,458.75 points to 23,516.56 - its lowest close since the start of January - on turnover of HK$235.97 billion (S$41.3 billion).
