Hong Kong: Stocks rally at open
HONG KONG shares burst out of the blocks Friday (May 27) morning, climbing more than 2 per cent following a strong performance on Wall Street.
The Hang Seng Index surged 2.63 per cent, or 529.86 points, to 20,646.06.
The Shanghai Composite Index added 0.38 per cent, or 11.92 points, to 3,135.03, while the Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange climbed 0.63 per cent, or 12.25 points, to 1,967.38. AFP
