Hong Kong: Stocks rise at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks climbed at the open on Thursday (Apr 14), following a positive lead from Wall Street where all main indexes had closed higher.
The Hang Seng Index was up 0.37 per cent or 79.48 points at 21,453.85 in early trade.
The Shanghai Composite Index was also in positive territory, gaining 0.52 per cent or 16.69 points to 3,203.51. The Shenzhen Composite Index on China's second exchange rose 0.48 per cent or 9.71 points to 2,021.89. AFP
