Hong Kong: Stocks rise at the open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks opened with gains on Thursday morning after the Federal Reserve lifted interest rates again but said the US economy was still in a strong position.
The Hang Seng Index added 0.34 per cent, or 95.64 points, to 27,912.51 in early trade.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index was marginally lower, inching down 1.02 points to 2,805.79, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, lost 0.12 per cent, or 1.67 points, to 1,446.18.
