Hong Kong: Stocks see slight recovery at open

[HONG KONG] Shares in Hong Kong and Shanghai opened slightly higher on Thursday after each suffered losses of more than two percent in the previous session in response to another round of weak Chinese data.
Hong Kong's benchmark Hang Seng Index edged up 0.13 per cent, or 28.39 points, to 21,331.3 in the first few minutes.
Shanghai's benchmark Shanghai Composite Index added 0.34 per cent, or 10.60 points, to 3,126.49.
The Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, added 0.44 per cent, or 7.62 points, to 1,744.06.
