Hong Kong: Stocks up, Shanghai down at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong stocks edged up in the first few minutes of trade Tuesday, extending the previous day's gains, but Shanghai retreated on profit-taking.
The Hang Seng Index in Hong Kong added 0.16 per cent, or 32.28 points, to 20,473.09.
But the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.09 per cent, or 2.66 points, to 3,031.30 and the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, slipped 0.11 per cent, or 2.17 points, to 1,950.31.
