Hong Kong: Stocks slip at open

[HONG KONG] Hong Kong shares slipped in the opening minutes of trade on Tuesday, following a healthy gain the day before while investors tracked a retreat on US and European markets.
The Hang Seng Index dipped 0.31 per cent, or 72.05 points, to 23,276.19.
And the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index edged down 0.08 per cent, or 2.58 points, to 3,154.40, while the Shenzhen Composite Index, which tracks stocks on China's second exchange, eased 0.09 per cent, or 1.67 points, to 1,925.90.
