NICO Steel was on Thursday queried by Singapore Exchange (SGX) following a surge in the trading of its shares.
The stock was up 31 per cent or half a cent to S$0.021 as at 3.55pm.
It was the second-most actively traded stock, with some 70 million shares changing hands.
