MALAYSIA share prices closed flat on Tuesday, with the FTSE Bursa Malaysia Kuala Lumpur Composite Index down just 0.21 point to 1,558.79.

Volume was 2.4 billion lots worth RM1.7 billion.

Gainers outnumbered losers 432 to 377.
